Microscope analysis of the hair

One of the main methods of analysing the hair is through the use of microscopes. The hair polarizer is used to this effect and examines and analyses scalp, hair-root and hair-cuticle for a special hair care service against the hair's damage and alopecia.

Procedure for microscope analysis

§         The anagen, catagen, telogen ratio for epilated hair are detected

§         The shape of anagen bulbs, whether sheath is present

§         Hair shaft is used to detect damage to the cuticle cortex and medulla

§         Establish the rate and severity of hair loss

§         confirm the presence of lice or fungal infections
